From Erica Paterson of WFPL, an NPR radio station: A bill pre-filed in the General Assembly would declare Kentucky a “sanctuary state” for people and companies who don’t want to follow federal environmental laws that will restrict carbon dioxide emissions from power plants.

This is an interesting proposition and, of course, follows on the very successful concept of sanctuary cities established by Democrats in an effort to avoid following immigration law so as to artificially boost the number of available Democrat voters. This tactic is apparently constitutional and legal as the federal government has made no attempt to interrupt the establishment of these law free zones.

This could be a good idea for Sumter County. What do you think?
