A friend just told me they were checking ID at some of the facilities ( Tennis ) and found a few people with copied ID joining in round robin. This I guess made them do some further checking and they asked for additional photo ID to verify the copied ID. It turns out that they wouldn't provide it and had to leave. Bottom line is it looks like some village residents are providing copies of their ID to non-village residents so they can use our facilities. I for one wish more of the rec centers would check more then they do but am glad at least some of the centers are catching on to this and stopping people without valid ID from using the facilities.

I wish they would extend this checking to the Squares and at least limit the use of chairs to people with IDs since I know for a fact people from nearby communities come to the Squares very early for major events like St Pats day and tie up a large group of chairs to use.
