If by Liberal we mean a socialist, then they are the ones looking back, someone that THINKS socialism is a new idea, and that enslaving the masses equals caring about the welfare of the people. Then I would worry about saying you are a liberal. But, be proud because you are the party of slavery, and according to your old socialism, slavery is caring about the welfare of the people.
