You should realize that the Republican party credo is not to move forward. Progressive means to move forward. Republicans are either in favor of moving backwards or standing in place which is stagnating.

The forces moving ahead are a diverse group and not the old white males as in the past. Get on the train or get left holding your bag at the station.
