I asked about this last summer when shopping for a gas cart. I ended up with a new Yamaha EFI and am happy with it. Engine is peppy, maintains 19-20 going uphill, still a bit noisier than I had hoped for, but, I did have electric for 9 years...so, anything would seem noisy. I test drove the club car EFI but felt it ran rougher and a bit noisier. A neighbor bought one and is not happy with it...it can barely go 20 on level ground and loses a lot of speed uphill. The dealer has been no help. To get any more power they would have to add high speed gears that would void the warranty.
