As far as the comments about certain posters being un-Christian, I have to agree. Christ spent his life helping the poor, sick and needy. He didn't speak about homosexuality or abortion. He embraced those from the lowest rungs of society by saying that those for whom much had been given, much is expected. He taught love, hope, compassion and forgiveness. He warned against those who would manipulate the word of God for their own selfish ambitions. He opposed greed and encouraged giving. You know, the exact oppose of what Republicans stand for.

Again, I'm not the poster you are addressing and this is totally off topic, but I don't think you or I or anyone else is fit to deem who is a Christian and who is not. That is not for a third party to decide, but rather between the individual and Christ only. To make that judgment about another person is sinful in itself. Knowing the Bible quite well from years of study, I have to say that your short summary of Christ's teachings is obviously skewed in such a way that you are doing exactly what you condemn others for doing, which is manipulating the Word of God for your own purposes. I find it rather ironic that no one else (unless I missed something ) has brought up religion on this thread except the 2 posters that seem to find it necessary to judge and condemn others.
