Thanks for lobbing a softball at me. Where did the good old boys run to when civil rights laws were passed in the 60's? That wouldn't be the party of Lincoln would it? Were have they stayed in the last 50 years? That wouldn't be the party of Lincoln would it?
What happened when the party of Lincoln states were told that they could now change voting laws in their state without prior approved. South Carolina instituted voter id laws that were directed against minorities, and did it in record breaking time. Texas followed suit. Which party controls both states? That wouldn't be the party of Lincoln would it?
It appears that the change in party didn't change the attitude for these good old boys. The Republican now owns them. So, good luck to you.
You can't be bragging about your female, black, and Latino candidates? I can't believe anyone is that stupid. Your female candidate is being completely ignored. Is the under card like telling someone to walk five steps behind you? Your black candidate is one of a token few in your party. He is so clueless that he wouldn't get the majority of black votes. Your Latino candidates are running away from the race as fast as they can. If they support a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, they wouldn't get any votes in the primaries. You have a few Christians. Praise the lord! There really is a God in heaven.
The liberals or socialists as you like to call them want to run everything. Government control of industry. An end to capitalism! You can say this with a straight face! If it didn't come from a far right Republican, that would sound crazy. Have no fear, the far right will stop this from happening, because they are excellent at fixing problems that only exist in their minds. Reality is a concept that is totally foreign to them.
61 votes to repeal Obamacare, and one gets through the Senate by a procedural maneuver, this is the Republicans idea of getting something done. They sit there and clap for a job well done. Isn't it nice to get paid for doing nothing? They want to cut social programs. Maybe they should start by cutting their own pay.
