I am not going anywhere with the slavery issue. The person that associated Democrats with slaves apparently doesn't think that nothing has changed in 150+ years. Those Democrats that support racial segregation prior to 1960 civil rights laws are now Republicans. Is there any doubt that is the case now?
I am not ashamed of anything. I know what I am. The labels of liberal or socialist are put on people to demean them. That might fly here in the Villages, but in the real world being a liberal or a progressive isn't the same as being a socialist. They are just words anyway.
