Hi Everybody,

My wife and I just bought a house in The Villages and we are really excited! We had visited 3 times in the past and grew more in love with it each time. I can't wait to meet my neighbors and get involved in the thousands of activities, especially golf. I do have one concern, though. When we were purchasing insurance, we saw that there is a requirement by the state that the insurance company provides sinkhole insurance. Has this been a problem in the past? We bought a house on the new Havana Golf Course and we were never told about any problem. Do any of you have more than the standard insurance to protect yourselves against this problem? We don't have sinkholes in Chicago, just lousy weather and corrupt politicians.
