Trump, and Cruz are leading in the Republican primary. If either of these is the nominee, they might not get support from the own party. You think that independents like me are going to flock to these people? There is medication for that, and very strong medication.

I find it absolutely astounding that you do not realize that Sanders IS a socialist and during their first debate, Hillary was trying to out-socialize him. The reason we call you socialists is because you ARE socialists and we just want to remind you of that fact. EVERYTHING you espouse defines socialism. Everything that has been pushed in at least the last seven years, is socialism. Calling today's Democrats socialists or liberals is no different from you calling Republicans, conservatives. I don't consider being called a conservative to be a slur. And when you attempt to call us Tea Party (or worst) as a slur, I consider it to be a compliment. Even though, I am not a member.
And I give little credibility to those that attempt to hide under the guise of being an Independent. Most of the time, they are just too embarrassed or ashamed to admit that they are Democrat/liberals, hiding in the closet. Just like my brother that is registered as an Independent and has never voted for anyone but Republicans. He is a Republican that won't admit it.
I have no fear right now that Hilary or Sanders will be elected. Sanders can only get the young vote, IF he can get them to turn out to vote. He will get NO votes in the South. Hillary is lower in the polls than Sanders and is losing credibility every day, and is obviously in a panic. She has lowered herself to admit that she can not do it without her husband and daughter. That has to be humiliating for her. And after this election, we will never have to worry about her again.
Yes, Hillary and Sanders are equally socialists, even if only one of them admits it. When asked, Hillary didn't even know the difference between a Democrat and a socialist. The head of the DNC, Debbie Whatshername was asked twice, on different occasions and still wasn't able to respond. So, you go ahead and tell me why you think that the Democrat party has not morphed into the Socialist party.....other than name.
If you think that being called a liberal or socialist is a slur, many others consider it a descriptor. I wonder if Hillary will be offended at being called a criminal after she is indicted. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and ........then maybe it IS a duck.
If you back Sanders, then you are a socialist. If you back Hillary, you are liberal. IMO they are both socialists. I've seen your Democrat label on a bumper sticker. It was an old one.
