If anyone thinks that they are going to get rid of politics in D.C. they are naive. The best you can do is do the least damage. Americans are very mistaken if they think they can do away with politics in politics. And the best we can do is clean up the hazardous waste/corruption as it spills. If you can't keep corruption out of cities, you can't expect to do it on a large scale like the Federal gov. All you can do is limit the damage and prosecute the perpetrators as you catch them.
