If you had said the guy from the Wrecking Crew I would of known who you meant. I just watched that documentary about a month ago on Palladia Channel. I remember the main fellow, I believe Denny Tedesco, said in the 70's he was making $500,000 a year and by the 80's he was making almost nothing, as bands did most of their own writing, recording and playing. That should be Hal Blaine in the middle.
It was surprising that Glen Campbell was in the Wrecking Crew before becoming famous.
They had a female bass player Carol Kaye, who was considered the best in the business and contributed many famous bass lines.
