Rather than racism, isn't this more a product of the movies people like? You go to movies to be entertained. The last thing that you should have to be concerned about is the color of an actor's skin.
Why is Obama name always dragged into a discussion about race in a bad way? My guess is if you talk to blacks that are almost non existent in the Villages, they are probably upset that the hasn't done enough to help them. Blacks were treated like crap for ninety years, after being freed. They have been treated better, since the sixties. So, that is last fifty years. We have another forty years to go. Then, all things will be equal. All kidding aside, aren't you tired of all the talk about racism? Maybe it would get better, if it wasn't talked about all the time.

And if the privileged black president didn't talk about the evil white cops, the anti-Muslim rhetoric (but not the anti-Jew and Christian) all the time. Sorry, half-black.
Does no one but me find it really funny and ironic that rich black millionaire actors are complaining about not having Affirmative Action in their awards? The awards are not voted on or given out by us. They pat each other on the backs for these awards. Would anyone lose anything if they did away with them....other than the dress designers?
The awards are a joke, and anyone complaining about them when we have all these other issues in the world going on, is selfish and self-centered.
