I enjoyed following his leadership when he was governor. I don't know how Minnesotans felt about him but I loved that he seemed to truly saying what he thought and felt rather than what was popular or going for the sound bites. Unless I hear that he did something truly egregious that hurt the state, I'd say he really is a decent alternative.
