Storming Juno (2010) - Rotten Tomatoes
This movie has some Canadian veterans of this invasion as well as actual historical footage from that battle.
Not as graphic and heart rendering as
Saving Private Ryan but a good narrative of what actually happened on Juno Beach. Also included a German Veteran as well as one of the French who had been liberated in the "Remembering Juno" segment that runs after the movie.
My father-in-law (actually my sister-in-law's late father) was on one on those American beaches but I do not remember exactly when he landed. It probably was after D-Day.
