Cruz? Rubio? That's a big negatory, good buddy.
Neither of them would get tha all-important Hispanic vote. No, Hispanics are not the same as Cubans. The Hispanics (Mexicans, Central Americans, and South Americans) do not get along with Cubans mainly based on the USA immigration policies.
Rubio and Cruz also want to greatly reduce welfare for Hispanics. That doesn't jibe with getting their votes.
Cruz' religious views are grossly different than most Cubans and Hispanics. Their priests in Catholic churches in Hispanic communities are preaching the ways of Democrat candidates - and the Pope leans left, also. There are a lot more Hispanic voters than the white Evangelicals who are for Cruz.
Finally, look at demographics of the large cities of the high electoral vote states. The large cities are where the largest voting blocs are that swing the balance of the electoral votes for that particular state. It is NOT the areas of the old white men but of the young, the blacks, the poor, the single mothers, and the gay communities. This is the very large voting bloc that will choose our next President - and it ain't Cruz, Rubio, Bush, Carson, or Trump! It is Hillary!!
