Mr. Krazorback fan: I have a question for you on this, in my view, your LEO experience and background qualifies you to issue an authoritative opinion on this.

What should a person do in this situation? What should have the retired LEO done? What should the golf cart driver that was cut off done? I ask because I had this happen to me recently and I am pretty sure I did not handle it correctly.

Someone turned right on top of me and I locked them up at 20 mph, it was so close there was a plastic :smear” on the passenger side back door of his car. The car driver looked right at me and ran, another cart stopped to make sure I was OK. I blew a gasket and I chased the car home but my wife calmed me down and I did not engage him, he looked at me like I was the one that was nuts….

I had his license number, his address and a witness. I am not a snitch and I like to think our police have bigger “fish to fry” than this. From the perspective of a LEO and a private citizen what should have I done?
