Re: When tinfoil hats aren't enough
Our house up north is only a few miles from one of the UFO capitals of the world: Pine Bush, NY. However, the only UFOs we've seen were proven frauds.
The best friend of a cousin of mine (who died last year) is a psychic who is relatively quiet about it and absolutely refuses to use her psychic abilities for payment of any kind. The local police have utilized her services successfully. She was once called in to the home of a family where one of the children (age late 20s, I think) had committed suicide. Parents were appropriately devastated as it was completely unexpected and there was no explanation.
The psychic spent some time with the parents and wandering through the house, then spent considerable time in the room of the suicide, and apologetically told the parents that she could sense nothing except something vague about a penguin, which didn't make sense even to her, and clearly not to the parents.
In the ensuing weeks, the parents spent considerable time in that room, pulling out things, looking in odd places--and finally found the answer! In a book that was a favorite, maybe THE favorite of the young person, they found the suicide note neatly tucked into it. The book was published by Random House and was part of their Penguin Book series.
Go figure....
