As a Home Health Care RN, we see many patients of Dr Mascarenhas and they seem to do very well. His treatment seems to be a little different than other surgeons we see in the area. I understand this is devastating to your wife presently, but tell her we see many more positive outcomes than negative in this day and age. (You can Google his name and you will find his practice and reviews + background/training, etc. He uses a procedure called SAVI which is a 5 day treatment of radiation, directly into the site of the tumor.
