Oh, villagetinker, don't feel bad. You tried........
It made me think of the time my dad had a bumper crop of black-eyed peas. We shelled and shelled and shelled, even. But we never could get rid of them. He also liked to plant turnips which I did not like as a kid, but now I do. In fact, I think turnips are "in" now.
If you ever have a bumper crop of lovely little lettuce, please let me know. Just me.
