I made a remarkable discovery during my baby sitting sessions. It had nothing to do with being in a hurry. It had everything to do with the amount of money they made divided by the time they spent driving, they drove for a commission on each load. Enter my bright idea, hourly pay. The stories stopped and they started to take forever to get to their destination but because the hourly rate was set properly it saved the company a few dollars and the driving nightmares ended for the most part and accident's reduced greatly. The people in the golf carts need to drive in the by the hour mentality instead of commission. Why do we need to be first in line, why do we have to win at everything, why is our Doctor the best, why is our Barber number one, why is our Chinese Restaurant the best, why do we live our lives like an Olympic Event? I'm guilty sometimes to but I'm aware of all of this and more so I now have no excuse. Stay safe, all these accidents are terrible considering all these fine people have made it to retirement age in the shape their in and now drive like fools. Chill Out. Hope to see you all soon. P.S. when I came to investigate last March on one of my call's home to the Boss I reported how friendly, clean and beautiful the entire operation is but told my wife about a stunt driver in a white golf cart who looked like her mom. Traveling full out hammer down and it looked like the thought hit this person out of nowhere to make a right turn which she did on two wheels. Never broke a sweat just kept on trucking...must have been on commission.
