The link below takes you to a letter from the "National Association of Police Organizations, Inc." regarding law enforcements take on the deliberately designed half-time entertainment to glamorize attacks on law enforcement. Within the letter is this statement: "On the same night (re:Super Bowl) that hundreds of officers gave up their evenings with their own families to protect you and your players and fans, you honor them by promoting song and dance celebrating cop-killers".
I watched the halftime show and my personal take agrees with the NAPO's viewpoint. Rodger Goodell needs to have the guts to proclaim that though freedom of speech is our God given right, for these entertainers to high-jack the half-time show for their own protest was not appropriate and will not be allowed in future NFL venues.
