I think you misread my reply. I DID get a permit. My brother did the work, now I have to have the inspector come and inspect what he did. However, I think I will have a problem with the electrical outlet even though it is a covered outlet so i will probably have to have that disabled before they will approve the permit. SpaKingdom will not deliver the hot tub until they receive a copy of the permit.
