I switched from Directv to DISH as i got tired of their price variances from month to month. Most of their service reps are just warming a chair as they don't know their product very well and I informed their manager they need to be sent for more training, as they were a storehouse of misinformation.
I have had Dish for a year and no complaints with their service or product. I love their Hopper recording device as it is easy to use.
If switching to DISH, I would recommend going to their store on 441, across the street from Walmart, in the shopping plaza. Their reps are pleasant and you can always go to them with any problems instead of dialing an 800 jerk you around phone number.
