I have been also quite appreciative of the Sumter County Sheriff's people during the 10.5 years we have been here in the Villages. I used to pester the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office quite a bit about doing something about some events that occurred around me in Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs around March of 2000 and did overdo it quite a bit with e-mails to them. I went down to their headquarters on September 18, 2002 and gave them over a hundred documents about why this happened that March of 2000. On the other hand, the Sumter County Sheriff's Office helped me out when my car broke down and had an officer behind me to wait for AAA to help me out. I sent them a letter thanking them for their kindness and got a reply from the Sheriff himself dated December 8, 2005 . I had mentioned my work on victims/survivors of crimes access to practical information in the letter to them as well. It is one of the letters in my Taltarzac725 Photobucket array. I have been writing police departments since 1992 and am very appreciate of the work they do for survivors/victims of crimes as well as for citizens every day. Some of the responses from various police departments are there on my Photobucket Array. These are part of my 224 613 Project. Hats off to the men and women in blue even if some are in brown or green.
