Do you think Reagan or anybody else of that era and thinking would have intended to do away with the border?
To do away with immigration enforcement?
To allow thousands to just walk in unchallenged?
To allow terrorists, rapists, criminals and all the other dreggs of another country to just come on in?
Of course not.
So stop quoting form the past that which does not fit the permissive, allow anything and do nothing to stop it mentality of today.
Stop looking in the rear view mirror for rationalization. Back then/whenever the minions and lemmings were not that stupid.
