Add that to that embarrasing alternative he "offered" to Obamacare last night, the fact that he WILL NOT EVERY STAND A CHANCE of winning a general election (new hispanic voters, 80% would never vote for him and Repubs need at least 40% of hispanic vote to come close) why would anyone vote for this man.

Why did anyone vote for Obama. Because he held out the promises of hope and change. None of which has even been discussed anymore.
They were sucked into thinking that a black man, more like the everyday person. Totally and completely wrong.
Transparency, more open and honest insight to what is going on. Xero. The most divisive, non transparent, more secretive than any more recent presidents.
Seven plus years of non delivering accompanied by deterioration of race relations; deterioration of military capability; deterioration of how we stand on the world stage; cowardly coddling of the enemy...islamic terrorism; just another all for him and to hell with America.
These are some of the reasons, like Trump or not; real or not; he does resonate with the mood of the American people who are sick and tired of politics and ESPECIALLY Obama politics.
