Seven plus years of non delivering accompanied by deterioration of race relations; deterioration of military capability; deterioration of how we stand on the world stage; cowardly coddling of the enemy...islamic terrorism; just another all for him and to hell with America.

These are some of the reasons, like Trump or not; real or not; he does resonate with the mood of the American people who are sick and tired of politics and ESPECIALLY Obama politics.
What you say about people being sick and tired is true, but only enough to give him about 35-40% of their vote. The rest are also fed up, but reasonable enough to figure that he is not the one to be trusted to back up what he says. Most also want someone that can get along with others, to mend the divide, and have a strong sense of national security.
