My mom rest her soul taught us that to be a person of quality that if we knocked over something from a grocery store display or shelf to pick it up. If it was an article of clothing knocked off a rack and nobody witnessed either event a decent person would pick up the item without fail. The other thing was to return the cart when finished shopping to the spot where it belongs. She said this was a good start to not being a juvenile delinquent.
