Finally broke down and called Romac after trying most of the suggestions above. The guy came out and adjusted two screws that adjust the up and down strength. He said the one to raise the door was way out of whack. Then he WD40'd the heck out of all the rollers and the big spring mounted above the door. 75 bucks later everything was working great and it was a lot quieter.
