There is no reason what so ever to not build the wall and close the border.
It just has to be the priority. And the business/politics as usual cronys will not rsik the votes.

If the Republicans want a wall, they are going to have to compromise on the illegal immigrants already here. The Democrats in the Senate will filibuster any bill that only is a wall, and deport everyone not here legally. Trump can beat his chest all he wants on the campaign trail. If he is elected president, God save us, he has to compromise, a word he doesn't have in his head, with people that don't agree with him, and have the power to stop him.
Trump is nothing, but noise, and funny faces.
There are not hoards of illegals coming across the southern border. The number of illegals hasn't changed much in past seven plus years. Can this statement be proven? No. But can the statement that hoards are coming across be proven? No. That statement is pure speculation. It depends on, which side of the wall, you are standing on, and who are listening to.
