Hi Linda, I'm sorry and I hate that also. When we first moved in, the people across the street from us hired a "nice young couple" to do their landscaping. Needless to say they got half if not most of the money, started the job and never returned. I even had these people in my house and around it giving me an estimate. It creeps me out now. Consequently we read that this couple was arrested. I don't know if they're out now doing yet another scam. Needless to say, we hired a different landscaper, GREAT JOB!, and my husband told him the story and this young man wouldn't take even a down payment, just wanted to be paid in full when the job was done. I've referred him to many other people. He's great. If anyone wants his name, please feel free to pm me.
