It's about three miles from SS to LSL and about eight miles from LSL to Brownwood. It seems to me that it would have made more sense to locate another town square where it would have taken some of the pressure off of LSL and drew from both sides.
But, these developers seem to know what they're doing. Give it some time and see how it looks in ten years or so.

The developer wanted to tap into the Wildwood utilities, and Wildwood would not agree unless the Brownwood location is where it is today - completely in Wildwood. Otherwise, I'm sure the developer would have put it in a central location. It now makes it much harder to sell those houses way over in Fruitland Park.
