I have two for you. I grew up in an old, farm house type, two story house (only there was no farm). Whenever I would come down the stairs from the second story, it felt like there was someone behind me. This was particularly true if it was night. I can remember being in my late teens and asking my mother to wait at the bottom of the stairs for me. I never told anyone, even my mother, about this. Imagine my surprise, when, during a visit from my cousin, we were talking about old times, and she told me the same thing. Then, after talking to my brother, he said he always felt it, too. My mother was deceased by this time, so I couldn't ask her if she'd felt it, too. The 3 of us were too embarrassed when we were young to tell anyone else about it.

The second thing began happening in a dream. I dreamt that my brother had died. I was really upset in the dream, and then my parents came to me and said "it wasn't him." When I came home from work that night and found my parents sitting on my back step (they lived about 30 miles away at the time, in another state), my stomach dropped a mile because that dream had lingered with me. It turned out that my uncle had died unexpectedly the night before. That creeped me out for a long time.
