One car and a golf cart is very wise. We sold hubby's car when we moved here. Having one car is not a problem and gas consumption is way down. I use the cart for everything, from going to the pool to grocery shopping. Only when I need to do a big shop do I take the car or get to Lowe's or any where that is not cart accessible.
We live in Piedmont on the northern part of TV. Some rides in the cart take a while , say LSL, but it such a pleasant ride , who cares if it takes extra time. I have time now, and I am enjoying it, every way possible.
