Is that the America our forefathers envisioned?

Are you kidding? Who cares if one or a million people own other homes? I have my home and I earned it. Every penny of it. I also have another home that I gave to my daughter. That was my prerogative. By your vision for America, it would not be against the law for me to rob a bank if I wished, because they have more money than I do. Totally ridiculous.
Liberals are always generous with other folks' money. Take from them and they cry a blue moon.
As for the wealthy getting all the tax breaks, they still pay more into the IRS than half the country. And they deserve all the tax breaks because they are being discriminated upon. Even the supreme court has said that one should not pay more income taxes than the minimum required by law.
"Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as
possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the
treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes.
Over and over again the Courts have said that there is nothing sinister
in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes as low as possible. Everyone
does it, rich and poor alike and all do right, for nobody owes any
public duty to pay more than the law demands."-- Judge Learned Hand (1872-1961), Judge, U. S. Court of Appeals
Grover Cleveland: "When more of the people's sustenance is exacted through the form of taxation than is necessary to meet the just obligations of government and expenses of its economical administration, such exaction becomes ruthless extortion and a violation of the fundamental principles of free government."
