As for cars, I have never understood why the U.S. is so slow to develop alternatives.
My husband, who is a retired upper management Ford employee out of Dearborn, Mi (Ford's home), agrees that his company never seemed interested with being a front runner with new innovations nor did they seem interested with designing automobiles that were competitive with the foreign market.
What is the matter with our U.S. auto manufacturers?
