Re: EWWWWWWWWWWWWW They're back!!!
Our first and so far, only introduction to love bugs was several years ago when my wife and I were driving back to Orlando Airport. We had dropped our son off at college (ERAU in Daytona) and were driving to the airport at night. About halfway down there it started to rain which I thought was strange since the sky, even though dark, seemed clear. After awhile it really started hitting the windshield (rented car by the way) and I put the wipers on. All I got was a huge smear across the windshield so I pushed the washer button. Hmmm....didn't do much good. After a mile or two we came out of it and there was no rain after that. It was only when we returned the car that we saw the entire front end was plastered with dead bugs. YIKES! That wasn't rain...it was BUGS! The guy who took the car back seemed unfazed. We just shrugged our shoulders and boarded the airport shuttle. What do we know...we're from Long Island. We still want to move to TV but the bugs still have us...well...a little bugged.
