All I can add is tha the prior political forum one used the same identity as we do on the non political forum.

There are some of us who were frequent visitors.

There were just as many rude, disrespectful, name calling aggitators then as there is now.

An advantage we had then ws to be able to utilize the ignore feature of the site (which we cannot do today).

While I cannot speak from personal experience some posters did go after other posters via private messaging....another reason for the all "guest" format of today.

And speaking from experience, there will always be rabble rousers and baiters and plain old nasty folks on most sites. Fortunately they are in the minority.

Unfortunately that minority disrupts the total and gets far more attention than warranted.

In today's political forum the best tool for the aggravators is to either not engage with them or totally ignore them.
