Build a birdcage. We live on a lake and a preserve. Gorgeous, birds galore of all types, sparkling blue water. We can see people out on the lookout when they are viewing what we see all day. Sometimes there can be mosquitoes but not all year, and again, get a birdcage. The mosquitoes are not out in the day and it is very peaceful and interesting to live on a preserve. Go for it. We did and are very happy. It's peaceful and private.
