If anyone would have told me that I would move from SoCal to Florida, I would have laughed so hard. What?  No wayyyyyy!!! One trip here, however, and I was home. Although I still don't love Florida summer heat and humidity, I do like living here. It certainly is more affordable than SoCal and offers a lot of opportunities to meet new people and have fun. I knew when I retired I would be bored staying in Los Angeles because all my friends would still be working so I ventured out to see what I could find. Boy, was that a lucky break.
If I hadn't moved here, my plan was to live Summers in Flagstaff, AZ and winters in Phoenix or Tuscon.
