Village Golf Cars both in LSL and SS rent only gas carts. You might wish to review an earlier thread which listed several private people who rent golf carts in TV.

The "private cart rentals" tell me they rent gas because it's more convenient for them but it's still worth looking into. Good luck and enjoy your visit.
