I am glad you are "safe." Although, I guess some have given up their pride to allow the gov to control their retirement like that. Doesn't say much for good old American self-reliance. I have never used my Medicare, since I have private insurance. For me, it was a waste of payroll taxes for the past 45 years. Social Security was OK in the last century, but now is so outdated it's now a Ponzi scheme. If it had been invested properly like for instance the Thrift Savings Plan, I would be living in a much better standard of living. Unfortunately, our SS fund was borrowed from by congress to pay bills and all we have now is IOU's with low interest returns. And by the way, you enjoy your SS now because if someone doesn't do something about it soon, they will have to cut the payments down to management levels. And they can, too. And forget about our children getting any benefit from SS. It won't be there unless congress does something about it. The numbers are just not there. Not when you have 50% of the population out of the workforce.
So, live in your Obama Utopia and maybe vote for Sander's socialism, because the days of the great middle class is behind us....thanks to a greedy over spending congress that has hosed up the economy and makes it even worst by passing the monster Obamacare that will bankrupt and finish off our country. Can't blame Obamacare on the Republicans.
