Ah, but a conservative indentured servant of the gov is better than a totally dependent liberal slave to the government. The difference is that the liberal slave says "please tell me what to do and take care of me so that I don't have to think for myself." The conservative says "let's have a smaller government, pay less taxes to keep it running, and leave me alone."

The conservative goes out in the forest, sets up camp, gathers wood for the fire, hunts for his meal and prepares it.
The liberal, wants to be transported to a hotel, maid service to clean up after them, and room service to provide prepared meals. And they believe that the wealthy should fund it for them.
