when you have to put the costs of war back on the books, well funny things happen to the debt. Seems having to pay for things that the guy before you spent kind of sucks.
the debt is not good, but it has been around a long long time, if Saint Ronnie who ran on smaller government had his debt EXPLODE. But fire a few aircraft controllers and you become a defender for smaller government I guess.
