I didn't get a hand out. I got a hand up. In those days the top 22%, not the 1/10 of 1 per cent owned 90% of the wealth. If I had borrowed money for all 4 years of college, I could have paid it off in the first year I worked. Can your grandchildren say that?
We, the middle class did not look out for our children. We let this happen.
