the simple physics p (momentum) = m (mass) x v (velocity)
20mph = 29.33 ft per sec
10lb child x 20mph = 293 ft/lbs per sec so if the cart came to an instant stop son in law in back is trying to hold almost 600 lbs of baby --- ain't gonna happen.
