Re: heard today that the developer filed for 240 new permits...
I just looked at the online edition of "The Daily Sun." For those of you who don't know about the monthly "Newcomers" listings in the paper, you may want to take a look today.
After you have opened "The Daily Sun" part of TV's site, go over to the left side and click on "Recreation News." Go to page 48 and you will find the list.(Page 48 is the hard copy number. I think the file page is 26. You'll figure it out I know.) Don't squint. Click on the page and it will get bigger.
I think these listings may show those who migrate from village to village, too. But this gives you a bit of a feel for what's going on. If you are in the market for a home, you no doubt already recognize the village names and know which are new and which are preowned.
It's also interesting to see who's moving in and where they are from. Who knows? You could end up moving next door to your high school boyfriend. Interesting. Or a former boss. Not so interesting. You do know that all paths lead to TV, don't you?
I had not looked for this list for a long time and checked today so I could pass along the info if it was on there. It is published once a month so I don't know if the site carries it all the time. This rec news has last Thursday's date, 4/24, so I don't know if it will disappear when the new one comes out. If you want to have a look, you may want to hurry.
Can anybody here tell us if the "Welcome Newcomers" section of the rec news can be found in the archives somewhere?
Well, it looks like I'm here this morning doing public service announcements or something. If you are inclined to do a little snooping, the rec news is at your service. But hurry in case it goes away soon and is not archived.
