I can only speak for myself. I am open minded and love this man for the direction he has chosen for the Catholic Faith. He is honest and sincere and cares for the least of us. I can understand why some in congress were watery eyed during his speech. When I was young there use to be a slogan “You don’t have to be Jewish to love Levy’s Real Jewish Rye”
Why do you cubbyhole people?

And what if anything, does this have to do with embarrassed Republicans? Like the question went, who wept? You can put a video up, but what does that mean? It means that some of those that wept were shown. Why did they weep? Are you suggesting that one phrase caused it? And since when does one side get all the benefit of "cubbyhole people?" Are you liberals not famous for diverting and asking stupid questions, just to change the subject so that they don't have to add to the conversation?
If you READ the response, you will see that I said that the Pope was a good man. If liberals wish to use religion as a defense for not committing to a conversation, go for it. Maybe you liberals will learn something. But, just because the majority of conservatives are Christian, doesn't mean being Christian is a liability. Only atheist liberals think being religious is a weakness to be used against conservatives. And feel free to argue that liberals are Christian too. Facts show that there are a higher majority of conservative Christians than Liberals that claim to be Christian.
So, now that you have diverted from the topic, feel free to either go on your merry (I did not say gay) way or return to the topic. Your choice.
