Talk about an injustice. I am not in TV yet, and still in the work force and I can not tell you how many women have great jobs while their husbands are playing the stay-at-home parent role. And most times, it has not been by choice but necessity. Our society is definitely changing, I just question whether it is for the good. My gut feeling is that it is not.

This is ALL due to quotas and affirmative action. Women get it too.
Be honest...looking back...would you have rather stayed home and raised your son with the neighborhood women and the neighborhood kids? Going to each others houses, going to the park together. Teaching your children YOUR values. Just plain teaching your children.
Or, do you think it's better that the mother duke it out in the corporate world or service industry and have their child "raised" (because that's what it is when your infant/toddler is with the same people 10 hours a day) by Lawanda making minimum wage? Lawanda IS raising your children. And you wonder why they're "different". No values, no sense of work ethic. Well duh! Look who "raised" them...it wasn't you. Look at their "friends" at preschool. You approve of all of them? Even that psychopath in the corner influencing your child? 15 minutes with the wrong kid can undo years of careful raising.
I think we peaked in the 50s. For a million years, the roles of men and women were what they were. We opened Pandora's box when we destroyed the family and roots.
